Treasure Island

One of the best views of the city is on a tiny little outpost in the bay that has little more than a few humble rows of weathered houses and a dog park on it. The reason why there aren’t million dollar condos squeezed onto every square foot of the tiny island is probably due to the unfortunate radioactive waste disaster that happened a while back. People do live there now, but we still got a little shock when we saw a large fenced off area with a radioactive warning sign all over it. Despite all of this, it is still a popular spot with photographers and locals.

  1. Looks like a cool rocky shore to snap a few family picks. I’m always on the lookout for places like these where the backdrop falls away and the subject can shine. Very cool little place, hopefully no one turns green and starts glowing. – Tobias
