I’m having a hard time coping with how fast Ellie is growing up, so I obsessively record her, trying to capture her baby quirks before they disappear. Sometimes I scroll through my phone and I catch myself watching her clips on loop, especially the ones where she’s dancing (more like wriggling) to music.
Going through these footages from April, I can’t believe how different she is already and how much she’s grown. It makes me tear up when I realize how her cheeks have slimmed down already and how soon we might not be able to carry her around on us, her little face peaking out curiously at the world.
It’s such a joy to take her traveling with us, and it’s worth all the long hours at the airports and on planes. I know I will treasure these memories for years to come.
